5. How do I inform Arcadia when my address, phone number, etc. has changed?

You can give us your new contact details by phoning our Call Centre department on 021 981 8898 or by sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Supply us with old and new details or client number.  Sometimes our order forms also provide a space where you can correct your address details.

6. How do I order from Arcadia Home Shopping?

For your convenience, we’ve made the following ways available to place your order:

1. When receiving your offers in the mail use the enclosed entry form and reply envelope to mail your order to us. If, for some reason, you’ve misplaced  your self-addressed reply envelope, you can use an ordinary envelope and mail it to: PO Box 496, Brackenfell, 7561.
2. Alternatively, if you have a credit card, you can phone our Call Centre department on 021 981 8898 and have your credit card details ready.
3. You can also fax your order form to 086 638 0452.

7. In which ways can I pay for my order?

You can, as mentioned, use your credit card when paying.  You can also pay by cheque or postal order made out to Arcadia Home Shopping. Should you wish to pay via the internet, please contact the Call Centre on 021 981 8898.  We will provide you with the correct reference number.

8. How long will it take to receive my order?

We make every effort to process and dispatch orders immediately upon receipt.  The average duration for parcels to arrive at your home/the nearest Post Office, is 5 -7 days from dispatch. This may vary depending on the Post Office delivery times.

9. Can I return an item if I’m not happy with it?

Yes, absolutely. Arcadia has a 90-day Money-back Guarantee, which means that if you are not 100% satisfied with your item, you are free to return it in it’s original condition for a full refund (excluding the postage fee) or replacement – no questions asked.  Just remember that you have to return it within 90 days.

10. I’ve heard that I can also win big cash prizes from Arcadia. Is this really true?

Yes, it’s true! Once you have registered your name and address details with Arcadia Home Shopping, you are entitled to receive regular mailings with wonderful opportunities to win cash prizes of up to R100,000.00. Every year one lucky customer also receives a brand-new car!

Of course. They are run in accordance with all legislation, industry codes of conduct and similar. Rules are published, lists of winners are available and everything is done according to the book. The annual draws are supervised by the company’s auditors and we have a Compliance Committee that scrutinizes all our published material.

12. How do the competitions work?

Arcadia Home Shopping gives away approximately R200,000.00’s in cash and we’ll send you regular prize opportunities by mail, and you will need to reply promptly to enter these competition. We supply everything – including an addressed reply envelope. All prizes are awarded to qualifying contestants, and an auditor supervises the process. Cash prizes are paid directly into the winners’ bank accounts.

13. Do you have any tips on how I could improve my chances of winning?

Yes – reply frequently and promptly! The more you respond to the various promotions, the more chances you will have in the sweepstakes. We have an internal scoring system that ensures that those who reply most frequently will receive the most mailings - and prize-winning opportunities. You also need to reply promptly as all competitions have deadlines.

14. Can I win more than once?

Of course! Names are selected randomly and it is possible that names are drawn more than once. Good luck!

15. What happens if I’ve been selected as a pre-drawn winner and don’t respond?

Sadly, you will forfeit the prize. If the rules state that you need to return a prize claim number, then you must do so before the closing date of the competition in order to claim your prize. We are bound by the rules. Unclaimed prizes may be put in a prize pool and awarded to future contestants.

16. How do I know when I’ve won?

Our competitions are divided into four quarters. After each quarter all the competition winners of that quarter are announced on our Winners’ Hotline, which can be reached by dialing 082 232 3010. We also notify each winner in writing a few days after the closing date of the competition. The closing date, along with all the other competition regulations, is printed in the rules accompanying the competition.

In competitions with pre-draws, the money is paid out to the winner as soon as we receive their reply.

17. Do I have to buy anything to enter competitions?

No. Entry is free, but you are encouraged to buy items as they are superb value, and many are exclusive to Arcadia. You will also receive valuable free gifts when shopping with Arcadia.

18. Are winnings taxable?

No. Your prizes – which can be as much as R100 000.00 - are regarded as windfall earnings and are tax-free. Enjoy!
